CVS Cheshire East

Community and Voluntary Services Cheshire East exists to promote and improve community and voluntary sector activity throughout the borough of Cheshire East.
The aim is achieved through the provision of a cohesive and comprehensive set of core services which include:
- promotion and brokering of volunteering from its 3 registered volunteer centres
- development and management of membership and networks
- advice and training (e.g. funding, governance, partnering etc)
- facilitation of new group development
- regular communication of news, best practice examples, legal requirements, etc)
- raising the profile of the community and voluntary sector
- liaison with the business and the statutory sectors and other agencies to promote positive cross sector relationships

Membership is open to all community and voluntary groups.
